how to use the pump.fun fee and creator earnings calculator
- Pick where the coin trades: the bonding curve, a canonical PumpSwap pool (SOL or USDC) or a non-canonical pool.
- Enter the market cap in SOL (or USDC for USDC pools).
- Enter your trade size and the coin's daily trading volume.
- Open the tier table to see where the next fee step is.
formula
bonding curve: 0.30% creator + 0.95% protocol = 1.25% PumpSwap below 420 SOL: 0.30% creator + 0.93% protocol + 0.02% LP = 1.25% PumpSwap from 420 SOL: creator fee by tier + 0.05% protocol + 0.20% LP creator earnings = daily volume × creator fee
the PumpSwap tier table
Canonical PumpSwap pools (the pool a pump.fun coin graduates into) charge by market cap in SOL. The creator fee starts at 0.95% at 420 SOL and steps down through 23 more tiers to 0.05% at 98,240 SOL and above, so the total fee falls from 1.20% to 0.30%. USDC-paired pools use the same structure with thresholds from $59,000 to $20M.
The fee values come from pump.fun's on-chain fee program. They match pump.fun's docs, except that five mid-range creator tiers the docs round to 0.275%, 0.225%, 0.175%, 0.125% and 0.075% are stored on-chain as 0.28%, 0.23%, 0.18%, 0.13% and 0.08%. The calculator uses the on-chain values.
worked example
A graduated coin at a 1,000 SOL market cap sits in the first tier after graduation: 0.95% creator + 0.05% protocol + 0.20% LP = 1.20%. With $250,000 of daily volume, the creator earns $2,375 a day, and traders pay $3,000 a day in fees in total.
